TREE TREK

If you delight in the serene beauty of Saskatchewan's forests then Tree Trek is for you. Tree Trek is a fun community fund raising event that is held across the province. All funds raised are used to maintain established nature trails and develop new ones.

Trekkers collect pledges and then walk between 5 and 25 km on designated forest trail. Medallions are presented to each new participant raising $10 or more, and in subsequent years a number pin is presented in recognition of the number of treks attended. Certificates are presented to all participants.

Tree Trek is held only every few years so be sure to listen for news releases about the next Tree Trek happening in Prince Albert

Tree Treks have also been held in Big River, La Ronge and Meadow Lake. So put on your running shoes or hiking boots, finagle some pledges and become a tree trekker.
